Lungleiah LMC Officials Trained for Upcoming Demographic Census

Lunglei, Sept 2025: In preparation for the upcoming demographic census, officials of the Lunglei Municipal Council (LMC) were trained today. LMC Secretary, Ms. Zoramdini, along with supervisors from the District Registrar Office (DRO) and enumerators, conducted the session at the BoC Meeting Hall.

During the training, officials were briefed on the proper procedures for conducting the census, including accurate and thorough data collection. Emphasis was placed on the importance of precision and careful reporting to ensure that the collected demographic data is reliable.

The training aimed to equip LMC personnel with the necessary skills to effectively enumerate residents of Lunglei town, ensuring that the community’s demographic information is accurately recorded and available for future planning and administrative purposes.
