Rice Harvesting Ceremony Held at Ailawng Tlangcheng

Aizawl, Oct 2025: A rice harvesting ceremony was held at Ailawng Tlangcheng, attended by several senior government officials and local residents.

Those present at the ceremony included Pu Sudhir Kumar, IAS, Principal Secretary, Government of Mizoram, Pi Zodingpuii, IAS, Secretary, Art & Culture Department, Pi Betsy Zothanpari Sailo, Secretary, IPR, Publicity & Stationery, Pu T.C. Lalkhuma, Joint Secretary, Art & Culture Department, and Pi Carol VLMS Dawngkimi, Director, Art & Culture Department.

The officials joined the local community of Ailawng village in harvesting the rice crop, marking the occasion with great joy and celebration.

Later in the evening, a communal feast was also organized, where participants shared meals and celebrated the successful harvest together.
