Meeting of Land Utilization Recommendation Committee Chaired by Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan
December 3, 2025 : A meeting of the Recommendation Committee for Optimal Land Utilization, chaired by Chief Secretary Shri Anand Bardhan, was held at the Secretariat on Wednesday. During the meeting, the Chief Secretary instructed all officials to ensure optimal use of land for all projects being initiated across various land parcels.
The Chief Secretary emphasized that before starting any project on a land parcel, the Site Selection Committee under the District Magistrate should identify the most suitable project based on the location and characteristics of the land. He noted that multiple appropriate projects could be implemented on larger land parcels and stressed the need to prepare a holistic plan for such land.
The committee, under the Chief Secretary’s leadership, reviewed the status of previous decisions and actions taken for various land parcels.
