Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Ajit Pawar Pays Tribute to Late Yashwantrao Chavan at Preeti Sangam

Satara, Feb 2026 : Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Ajit Pawar today paid her respectful tribute to Maharashtra’s architect and the state’s first Chief Minister, late Yashwantrao Chavan, by offering a floral wreath at his memorial at Preeti Sangam in Karad.

On the occasion, Minister for Relief and Rehabilitation Makarand Patil, State Women’s Commission Chairperson Rupali Chakankar, MPs Sunil Tatkare and Nitin Patil, former MP Srinivas Patil, former MLA Balasaheb Patil, District Collector Santosh Patil, Superintendent of Police Tushar Doshi, Karad Municipal Council President Rajendrasingh Yadav, along with office-bearers of various institutions, were present.

Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar visited Karad for the first time after taking oath as Deputy Chief Minister and paid homage to late Yashwantrao Chavan by offering a floral wreath at his memorial.
