CM Expresses Grief Over Road Accident in Saran, Announces Ex-Gratia for Victims’ Families

Patna, April 2026: Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Monday expressed deep sorrow over the death of three people in a road accident on the Dighwara–Sonepur route in Saran district.

Describing the incident as tragic, the Chief Minister conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for strength and courage for them to bear the loss.

He directed that an ex-gratia compensation of Rs 4 lakh each be provided to the families of the deceased from the Disaster Management Department.

The Chief Minister also wished for the speedy recovery of those injured in the accident.
