Gautam Adani Marks 40th Wedding Anniversary with Prayers at Kedarnath, Launches New Initiative for Employees
Dehradun/Shri Kedarnath Dham, May 2026 : Renowned industrialist Gautam Adani marked his 40th wedding anniversary on Friday by offering prayers at the sacred Kedarnath Dham, one of the revered Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Adani, accompanied by his wife Preeti Adani, described the day as doubly special, coinciding with both his wedding anniversary and International Workers’ Day. Sharing his thoughts on social media, he expressed gratitude for his wife’s unwavering support over four decades.
He noted that Preeti Adani has been a constant pillar of strength in his life—offering quiet resilience during challenges and serving as a grounded force behind his successes. The couple began the day with prayers and sought blessings from Lord Mahadev for the nation’s continued progress, prosperity, and strength.
During the visit, Adani performed special pooja rituals at the shrine, reflecting on both personal milestones and broader national aspirations. He also prayed for inspiration for citizens to contribute meaningfully to the country’s development.

On the occasion of Workers’ Day, Adani announced the launch of a new initiative titled “Apni Baat, Apno Ke Saath,” aimed at strengthening engagement with over four lakh employees across the Adani Group. He described the initiative as a heartfelt effort to connect directly with members of the “Adani family,” beyond formal corporate communication.
Through this platform, Adani said he plans to regularly share his thoughts, experiences, and learnings while also remaining open to learning from employees with humility. He emphasised that building meaningful connections within the organisation is essential to achieving larger goals.
Highlighting the importance of collective effort, he stated that when millions of employees align with the vision of nation-building, they contribute not only to infrastructure and business growth but also to the larger dream of a developed India. He reiterated that the trust and support of employees remain his greatest strength.
Adani concluded his message with a tribute to the workforce, saluting the spirit of labour and national strength with the words “Jai Shramik Shakti, Jai Rashtra Shakti.”
According to officials, Adani arrived in Dehradun from Delhi earlier in the day and later travelled to Kedarnath via a private helicopter. His visit prompted heightened security arrangements in the temple complex, with authorities ensuring smooth coordination in light of the high-profile presence.
The visit not only marked a personal milestone for the industrialist but also reflected a blend of spirituality, gratitude, and commitment to organisational and national growth.
