Admission Notification for First Semester at IIHT Bargarh / Venkatagiri

Mumbai, May 2026 : Applications have been invited for admission to the first semester of the three-year (six-semester) Diploma Course in Handloom and Textile Technology for the academic year 2026–27 at the Indian Institute of Handloom Technology (IIHT), a Central Government institution.

According to the notification, 13+1 seats from Maharashtra have been allotted for IIHT Bargarh in Odisha, while two seats are available for IIHT Venkatagiri through counselling.

To select eligible candidates for admission, applications in the prescribed format are being invited through the offices of the Regional Deputy Commissioners of Textiles at Nagpur, Solapur, Mumbai, and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Candidates can submit their applications during office hours until June 10, 2026.

Interested candidates have been advised to submit duly completed application forms to the respective Regional Deputy Commissioner of Textiles offices on or before June 10, 2026.
