NEW DELHI, May 2026 : Amid continuing concerns over examination paper leaks and the Centre’s latest decision to transport NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) question papers using Air Force aircraft and bulletproof vehicles, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal has launched a sharp attack on the Union Government’s handling of the issue.
Questioning the effectiveness of the move, the AAP Supremo said the government is avoiding the root cause of paper leaks while the country’s education system remains in the grip of an “education mafia”. He asserted the crisis reflects the need for an educated Prime Minister and called for collective action to reform the system rather than relying on symbolic measures.
Sharing a video message, AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal said, “I myself am an engineer from IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) and an educated person. Therefore, I understand the importance of education. I believe that until every child receives a good education, the country cannot progress. On Friday, our country’s government announced that in order to prevent the NEET examination paper from being leaked, it will now be transported using Air Force aircraft and Air Force bulletproof trucks. What kind of joke is this? Do they think we are fools?”
He continued, “Major examinations are conducted all over the world, but have you ever heard anywhere that examination papers are transported by the Air Force? Have you ever heard of such theatrics? This government knows only one thing, and that is theatrics. All of this is being done to create the impression that a very big step has been taken to prevent paper leaks. The government has no intention of fixing the system. If there were a government with honest intentions, it would identify where the leakages are happening and plug them.”
Arvind Kejriwal stated, “By saying that we will transport examination papers through Air Force aircraft and trucks, there is clearly an attempt to protect the system. These leaks will continue and the channels through which papers are being leaked will also continue to operate. A very powerful mafia has taken control of our country’s education system.”
The AAP Chief pointed out, “The entire education system is in the grip of a mafia. A student named Vedant has been widely discussed on social media these days. Vedant is a Class 12 student. He appeared for his examinations and received low marks. When he obtained copies of his answer sheets, he discovered that his Physics paper had been swapped with someone else’s paper and that he had been awarded very low marks.”
Referring to the student’s experience, he added, “That poor child posted on X that his paper had been changed, and immediately the entire troll army was unleashed against him. Some people called him a Pakistani, while others called him anti-national. One can only imagine what that young child must be going through emotionally and what impact this is having on his psychology. All of this is an attempt to protect the education mafia. It is not just Vedant. I do not know how many children have spoken out about their experiences, and these people have gone after all of them.”
The AAP Chief asserted, “If a single child raises his voice, this education mafia will not spare him. They will not spare you, and they will silence everyone. Everyone will have to come together and raise their voice against this. Only when people speak up collectively will the government be forced to act. Otherwise, the entire government has been taken over by the education mafia. This is a question of the future of our children. It is a question of your future.”
