Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli Visit Premanand Maharaj in Vrindavan

Mumbai, June 2026 : Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and her husband, Indian cricket star Virat Kohli, visited Vrindavan on Tuesday to seek blessings from spiritual leader Premanand Maharaj.

According to reports, the couple spent time with Premanand Maharaj in a private setting. Videos and photographs circulating on social media showed Anushka and Kohli walking through the premises wearing face masks and maintaining a low profile during their visit.

The spiritual trip comes shortly after a memorable season for Kohli, whose team, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, successfully defended their Indian Premier League title. RCB defeated Gujarat Titans by five wickets in the IPL 2026 final in Ahmedabad to clinch their second consecutive championship.

Kohli played a crucial role in the victory, scoring an unbeaten 75 runs during the chase of 156. The Bengaluru side’s bowlers had earlier restricted Gujarat Titans to 155/8, with key contributions from the pace attack helping set up the title-winning performance.

The triumph made Royal Challengers Bengaluru only the third franchise in IPL history to win back-to-back titles, further strengthening the team’s reputation as one of the dominant forces in recent seasons. Kohli finished among the leading performers of the tournament and capped off the campaign with a match-winning innings in the final.

While Kohli continues to shine on the cricket field, Anushka Sharma has largely stayed away from acting projects over the past few years. The actress has not appeared in a full-fledged film role for nearly four years.

Her much-anticipated sports biopic Chakda ‘Xpress’, based on the life of former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami, was ultimately shelved despite generating significant interest among fans.

Anushka was last seen in a cameo appearance in the streaming film Qala, which starred Triptii Dimri in the lead role. Directed by Anvita Dutt, the film was produced by Anushka’s brother, Karnesh Ssharma.

The couple’s latest visit to Vrindavan once again highlights their spiritual inclination, with both Anushka and Kohli having made several visits to religious and spiritual destinations in recent years.
