Mumbai, June 2026: Delcy Rodríguez, Acting President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, paid a courtesy visit to senior officials of the Tata Group at Bombay House in Mumbai and reviewed Tata Motors’ latest electric vehicle offerings.

During her visit, Rodríguez toured the facility and received detailed information about Tata Motors’ new-generation electric vehicles, reflecting growing global interest in sustainable mobility and clean transportation technologies.

On behalf of the Tata Group, Tata Motors Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Girish Wagh, along with other senior company officials, welcomed the Venezuelan leader.

The discussions focused on advancements in electric vehicle technology, innovation in sustainable transportation, and emerging opportunities in the rapidly evolving EV sector. Rodríguez engaged in detailed talks with Tata Group executives regarding modern and advanced technologies being adopted in electric mobility and explored potential avenues for future cooperation and growth in the industry.

The visit also highlighted the increasing global significance of electric vehicles as countries seek cleaner and more sustainable transportation solutions.
