Maharashtra Legislature’s Monsoon Session to be Held in Mumbai from June 22 to July 10, 2026

Decision Taken at Meetings of the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council Business Advisory Committees

Mumbai, June 2026 : The Monsoon Session of the Maharashtra State Legislature will be held in Mumbai from June 22 to July 10, 2026. The decision was taken during meetings of the Business Advisory Committees of the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council.

The meetings were held at the Vidhan Bhavan and attended by several senior leaders and officials. Those present included Legislative Council Chairman Prof. Ram Shinde, Legislative Assembly Speaker Adv. Rahul Narwekar, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Ajit Pawar, Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker Anna Bansode, Higher and Technical Education as well as Parliamentary Affairs Minister Chandrakant (Dada) Patil, and Food and Civil Supplies Minister Chhagan Bhujbal.

Several legislators also participated in the meeting, including Sudhir Mungantiwar, Deepak Kesarkar, Nana Patole, Jayant Patil, Dr. Neelam Gorhe, Anil Parab, Prasad Lad, Hemant Patil, Pravin Darekar, Vikram Kale, and Satej Patil.

Legislature Secretary Jitendra Bhole and other senior officials were also present during the discussions.

During the meeting, detailed deliberations were held regarding the scheduling, planning, and conduct of business for the upcoming Monsoon Session of the state legislature.

The session is expected to witness discussions on key legislative matters, government policies, and issues of public importance concerning Maharashtra.
