Senior AAP Leader Manish Sisodia Extends Birthday Wishes to Jailed Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal

New Delhi: Senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia extended heartfelt birthday wishes to jailed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, hailing him as a leader who has been fighting the “toughest battle against the dictatorship in the country.” In a post on ‘X,’ Sisodia described Kejriwal as a “patriotic and revolutionary leader” who chose imprisonment over submission, stating that “the country’s democracy is imprisoned in the form of Arvind Kejriwal.” To mark the occasion, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) plans to hold a series of events to celebrate Kejriwal’s birthday, with Sisodia himself set to commence a foot march in the evening.

AAP Minister Atishi also joined in the birthday wishes, praising Kejriwal for shaping the future of many by standing up against dictatorship. She noted that Kejriwal is currently jailed in what she described as a “false case,” but expressed hope that the truth will eventually prevail, leading to his release.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and AAP MP Raghav Chadha also extended their greetings to Kejriwal. Mann referred to him as a “revolutionary leader” who has given new direction to Indian politics, while Chadha thanked Kejriwal for inspiring a generation and leading a movement for truth and justice.
