No more office visits for farmers as Agriculture Department launches a dedicated Helpline

A major initiative by the Yogi govt for farmers’ convenience

Farmers can get complete information by calling 0522-2317003

Every detail available about digital agriculture survey, solar pumps, subsidies on farm machinery, seeds and fertilizers, and departmental schemes etc.

Lucknow, January 2026 : The Yogi government has taken a major step for farmers. Now, farmers will no longer need to visit government offices repeatedly to get information about the Agriculture Department schemes. All information will be available through a single phone call. For this purpose, the Agriculture Department has launched a helpline on Wednesday at the Directorate of Agriculture.

Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi, along with Minister of State Baldev Singh Aulakh, inaugurated the Agriculture Department helpline at the Directorate of Agriculture in Lucknow.

Through this helpline, farmers across Uttar Pradesh can get information by calling on the phone number 0522-2317003, from Monday to Friday, between 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

On the occasion, Agriculture Secretary Indra Vikram Singh, Agriculture Director Pankaj Tripathi, Additional Director Ashutosh Mishra, Joint Director Bureau Akhilesh Kumar Singh and other officials were present.

Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi said, “The objective of this helpline is to ensure that farmers do not have to wander or make repeated visits for information about schemes. By simply calling from their mobile phones, farmers can obtain details about subsidies, schemes, solar pumps, and all other related information provided by the department. Through a single dial, information related to the digital agriculture survey and farmer registry will be available.”

He added, “In addition, farmers can get information about solar pumps, subsidies on agricultural machinery, seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides. By pressing five, farmers can also access information related to the Agriculture Department schemes. Farmers can obtain details about agricultural inputs related to crop production, profitable schemes, new agricultural machinery, research, and innovations, helping them increase agricultural production and profitability.”
