Surrendered Naxal sisters tied Rakhi to Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, took promise of bright future and protection

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma during his Bastar visit today reached Lon Varratu Hub in Karli of Dantewada district. Shri Sharma met the surrendered Naxal families here and enquired about their well-being. On this occasion, the surrendered Naxal sisters living there tied Rakhi on the wrist of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma and took a pledge from him as a brother to protect them and provide a bright future. The Deputy Chief Minister promised the sisters that he would always be ready for their safety and well-being.

It is noteworthy that special arrangements have been made for the rehabilitation of surrendered Naxalites in Lon Varratu Hub. The Deputy Chief Minister met the surrendered Naxalites living here and their families and wished them Happy Independence Day and inquired about many touching incidents related to their lives. The surrendered Naxalites were very happy to find Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma among them.

Deputy Chief Minister Mr Sharma listened to their problems attentively and assured that the state government will make every effort to improve their lives. He not only discussed the changes in their lives but also promised to provide all possible help for their bright future.

 On this occasion, the surrendered Naxalites also met the Deputy Chief Minister and expressed their gratitude for the changes and new opportunities in their lives. During this, Chitrakote MLA Shri Vinay Goyal, Dantewada MLA Shri Chautaram Atami, Bastar IG Shri P. Sundarraj, DIG Dantewada Shri Kamalochan Kashyap, Dantewada Collector Shri Mayank Chaturvedi, and Dantewada Superintendent of Police Shri Gaurav Rai along with other eminent public representatives were present.
