India Stonemart 2026 to Give Rajasthan’s Stone Industry a Global Platform: CM Bhajanlal Sharma

Jaipur, January 2026: Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said that Rajasthan’s stone industry is witnessing steady growth and that the state government is working with a structured action plan to provide opportunities for its expansion and development at both national and international levels. He stated that the upcoming 13th India Stonemart–2026 will prove to be a key milestone in accelerating the growth of the state’s stone industry.

Chairing a meeting at the Chief Minister’s Office on Saturday, CM Sharma reviewed the preparations for India Stonemart–2026 and issued necessary directions to officials. He instructed them to comprehensively showcase the richness and potential of Rajasthan’s stone industry to national and international buyers, while also encouraging greater participation from domestic and overseas stakeholders.

The Chief Minister directed that preparations for the State and Country Pavilions be completed on time. He also emphasized leveraging the Jaipur Architecture Festival, to be held as part of Stonemart, to provide global recognition to Rajasthan’s stone sector. He further instructed that buyer–seller meets be organized as per the action plan to create new export opportunities for the state’s stone industry. Information related to the Shilpgram event was also reviewed during the meeting.

Notably, India Stonemart–2026, scheduled to be held in the first week of February, will showcase a wide range of stones from India and abroad, including marble, granite, sandstone, Kota stone, quartz stone, and slate. The event will also feature stone processing machinery, tools, and heavy earthmoving equipment.

The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Akhil Arora, officials from RIICO and CDoS, and representatives of Laghu Udyog Bharati.
