Pune : The state-level launch of the ‘Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana’ took place in Pune amidst an atmosphere of great enthusiasm. The event featured performances by women’s dhol and lazim troupes, a festively decorated Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, and a venue filled with joyful women. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde expressed his heartfelt wishes for the happiness and joy of women, stating that it is the sincere desire of brothers to bring happiness into the lives of women. He added that this is the reason behind the launch of the ‘Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana,’ under which each sister will receive Rs. 1,500 per month.

Union Minister of State Muralidhar Mohol, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Cooperation Minister Dilip Valse Patil, Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant (Dada) Patil, Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Council Dr. Neelam Gorhe, Women and Child Development Minister Aditi Tatkare, and others were present at the event.

Chief Minister Shinde shared his happiness over the launch, noting that today is a moment of joy for the beloved sisters. He emphasized that the financial planning for the entire year has been done, and the Rs. 1,500 provided through the scheme will greatly benefit needy sisters, helping them achieve financial upliftment and meet their family’s needs without having to rely on others for help.

Women have until August 31 to apply for the scheme. Once the application is submitted, the total amount for July, August, and September will be credited to their bank accounts. After linking their bank accounts with Aadhaar, the money will be credited directly. Chief Minister Shinde assured that every eligible sister will benefit from the scheme.

Additionally, three gas cylinders per year will be provided free of cost to women under the ‘Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana.’ The Chief Minister also highlighted the ‘Mukhyamantri Yuva Karya Training Yojana’ and other welfare schemes, which aim to bring moments of happiness to everyone. He reiterated that the government’s goal is to serve the people, and every scheme is being implemented with this objective in mind.

This participation will contribute to the rapid growth of Maharashtra’s economy and help create a state that respects women. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar’s Remarks

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar noted that the ‘Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin’ scheme was introduced in the budget to make women in the state more capable and empowered, granting them respect and dignity. So far, Rs. 1 crore 3 lakh has been deposited into their bank accounts for the months of July and August, bringing smiles and satisfaction to their faces. Mother-Sisters Have Hopes and Expectations While Living Their Lives, but They Set Aside Their Own Interests for the Good of Their Families.

Through this scheme, efforts are being made to fulfill their hopes and expectations. The continuity of this scheme will be maintained, ensuring that no eligible woman is deprived of its benefits, he stated.

Various schemes such as the Chief Minister Baliraja Free Electricity Scheme, Chief Minister Youth Work Training Scheme, and Free Vocational Education for Girls have been introduced in the state budget. To reduce unemployment and improve the lives of all common citizens, the central and state governments are working together on projects like building the metro network. Pawar urged citizens to cooperate with these development efforts.
