CM Fadnavis: Swami Satyamitranand Giri’s Samadhi Temple Inspires Future Generations, Cultural Revival Accelerates

Haridwar, February 2026: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis praised Swami Satyamitranand Giri as a leading carrier of Sanatan culture, stating that his Samadhi Temple serves as a source of inspiration for future generations and helps preserve the greatness of Indian culture.

Speaking as the chief guest at the installation ceremony of the Shri Vigraha idol at the Samadhi Temple in Haridwar, CM Fadnavis highlighted the significance of saints in Indian society, emphasizing their role in uniting and guiding communities.

The ceremony was attended by former President Ram Nath Kovind, Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avdheshanand Giri, Swami Govinddev Giri of Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir Nyas, Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria, Deputy CM Rajendra Shukla, and other dignitaries including Swamis Akhileshwaranand, Harichetananand, Lalitanand Giri, Mahant Devanand Saraswati, Vinay Rohilla, and Pradeep Batra.

CM Fadnavis noted that Swami Satyamitranand Giri’s work through the Bharat Mata Temple and his efforts to unite scattered streams of Indian Sanatan culture globally were remarkable. He dedicated his life to serving humanity, assisting wherever disaster or crisis struck, and transcending all divisions to help people. Through such selfless service, he strengthened the identity and continuity of Sanatan culture and earned global recognition for his exemplary personality.

Highlighting the resilience of Indian culture, Fadnavis said, “While many cultures worldwide have disappeared, Sanatan culture has endured. Its principles are ancient, and archaeological excavations of the Saraswati culture further validate these ideas, confirming the richness of Indian life through both science and history. Indian culture has thrived by embracing diversity, and carriers like Swami Satyamitranand Giri have played a vital role in preserving and passing it to future generations.”

The CM also acknowledged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership has significantly accelerated cultural revival, helping younger generations connect with and take pride in Sanatan traditions. He emphasized that the work of saints and Mahants like Swami Satyamitranand forms the invaluable foundation for this cultural continuity.
