India Takes Pride in Hindutva, and Hindutva is Essence of Nationhood: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that Adi Shankaracharya made an immensely significant contribution to elevating Sanatan culture to new heights and shared a special bond with the land of Madhya Pradesh. At the ideological level, India takes pride in Hindutva and Hindutva itself is the essence of nationhood. With the objective of ensuring the eternal flow of the Sanatan tradition, sants and the government are working in close coordination. Established by the Samanvay Seva Trust in Haridwar, the Bharat Mata Mandir is infusing renewed energy into society and the nation.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav addressed the Sant Sammelan on Thursday in Haridwar, organised during the ‘Pratima Pran Pratishtha’ at the Gurudev Samadhi Mandir by the Samanvay Seva Trust. On this occasion, Param Pujya Junapeethadheeshwar Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avdheshanand Giri extended best wishes to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav for the successful organisation of Simhastha-2028.

Invitation to Sants for Simhastha-2028

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav paid homage on the occasion of the Pran Pratishtha of Padma Bhushan Swami Satyamitranand Giri Maharaj, a torchbearer of the Adi Shankaracharya tradition, a proponent of Vedic Sanatan culture, and the founder of the country’s first Bharat Mata Mandir. He said the state government is giving focused attention to all arrangements and development works for organising a grand and divine Simhastha. He extended an invitation to all sants present at the event to visit Ujjain for Simhastha-2028.

Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Shri Manoj Sinha said that the transformation witnessed in the country in recent years, with the blessings of sants, is remarkable. India has become the world’s fourth-largest economy and is rapidly moving towards the goal of becoming a developed nation. Infrastructure expansion, including waterways, high-speed rail and highways, has given new momentum to the youth and the economy. Sisters, farmers and youth are all progressing on the path of inclusive development, while a renewed consciousness has emerged nationwide in cultural prosperity, heritage conservation and religious tourism.

Governor of Bihar Shri Arif Mohammad Khan said that alleviation of the world’s suffering is possible only through satsang. Ancient scriptures and the company of sants can provide individuals with renewed life and perspective. Sants are souls of calm and generosity, and all their activities are driven by the welfare of others. India’s identity is rooted in Sanatan. Indian culture has divinised humanity and humanised divinity. He also shared his views on the philosophy of Adi Shankaracharya.

Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami said that sants, seers and spiritual leaders are living symbols of Sanatan consciousness. Welcoming the sants to the land of Uttarakhand, he said that Swami Satyamitranand Giri Maharaj made significant contributions to national unity and cultural enrichment, and that his ideas would inspire spiritual awakening among the younger generation. The stage event concluded with a collective rendition of the National Anthem, Jana Gana Mana.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav Performs Yoga with Swami Ramdev

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav performed yoga with Yog Guru Swami Ramdev on Thursday at Patanjali Yogpeeth. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, yoga has evolved from an ancient Indian tradition into a global mass movement. He urged everyone to make yoga a part of their daily routine and move towards a healthy, balanced and energetic lifestyle.

Impressed by the serene environment of Patanjali Yogpeeth, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that its atmosphere, imbued with values, spiritual practice and inner strength, offers profound peace of mind. He also offered prayers, performed rituals and participated in a yajna, accompanied by Swami Ramdev, at the Bharat Mata Mandir in Haridwar, praying for the welfare and well-being of all.
