Students of 10 schools in Bhopal district will benefit from digital bus

Basic information about computer literacy will be provided in 10 government schools of Bhopal district through the digital bus launched by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Independence Day. About 2775 selected students of these schools will get free facilities. The digital bus will visit each school about 3 times a month, in which students of all classes will be given information on how to operate computers. This program is being run in collaboration with the School Education Department. It may be noted that the digital bus service has been started with the help of Shriram Fiber Foundation.

There are 20 computers installed in the digital bus. In this, students will be able to take advantage of internet facilities and smart education programs. NCERT subject-based Extra Mark software will be used to teach students. Students will be provided education on working on MS Word, making PPT, painting, enhancing typing skills, and computer short-key operating systems, etc.

In the Basic Computer Literacy Course, children in classes 6 to 10 will be given 18 hours of computer training. Under this, students will be educated about creating e-mails, sending e-mails, preparing data on Excel sheets, and better use of social media. Subject-based classes will be conducted for students from classes 1 to 10 in the digital bus, in which subjects like Hindi, Mathematics, Science, etc. will be taught through digital medium. By doing this, students will be able to take advantage of the smart education of their school.

Educational awareness program

Education-related awareness programs will be conducted through the digital bus. Students will be made aware of government programs and schemes by showing films through projectors in the village schools. The government schools of Phanda block of Bhopal district have been selected. These include Secondary School Lambakheda, Eintkhedi, Binapur, Nipania Jat, High School Raipur, Secondary School Chauprakala, High School Sukhi Sevaniya, Secondary School Barkhedi Abdullah, Secondary School Prempura and High School Balampur. The School Education Department has given instructions to the field staff to cooperate.
