Governor’s Address Is a Document of Hope and Development: Dr. Neeraj Bora
Lucknow: Dr. Neeraj Bora, MLA from Lucknow North, on Wednesday supported the motion of thanks on the Governor’s address in the State Assembly, stating that the address is a document that instills hope, strengthens trust, and clearly outlines the direction for a bright future of Uttar Pradesh. He said it neither creates confusion nor is based on hollow promises; rather, it presents a balanced model of resolve, sensitivity, and good governance.
Responding to interruptions by the opposition in the House, Dr. Bora said that concrete and result-oriented work has been carried out to transform the state capital Lucknow into a world-class city. The construction of dozens of flyovers, ambitious projects such as Kisan Path, and extensive development work in the field of infrastructure stand as proof of this progress. He also said that the government’s decision to allow commercial use in residential colonies will boost local trade and self-employment, for which he expressed gratitude to the state government. He added that all the development works he had demanded for his विधानसभा constituency Lucknow North have been generously approved by the Chief Minister.
Dr. Bora also placed several important suggestions before the government. He said that positive decisions should be taken on issues such as planned development of unregulated colonies in cities, paving the way for the establishment of the proposed fourth water works on Kursi Road keeping in view Lucknow’s future drinking water needs, developing a world-class market with modern facilities on Kisan Path, and shifting the Sitapur Road mandi to Kisan Path and developing a commercial complex at its existing location.
In addition, he emphasized the need to expedite the construction of underpasses between Nirala Nagar–Aliganj and Khadri–Jankipuram for smoother traffic, implement the drainage scheme for Jankipuram, and quickly realize the sewerage and drinking water projects for the Faizullaganj area. He also stressed the need to provide greater protection to micro, small and medium enterprises and to bring effective improvements in the functioning of the Single Window system and Udyog Bandhu. Dr. Bora urged the House to support the Governor’s address so that everyone can collectively participate in building a safe, strong, and prosperous Uttar Pradesh.
