OSCE Parliamentarians Gather In Vienna For 25th Winter Meeting.
Vienna; February 2026: On 19th and 20th February, hundreds of parliamentarians from across the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) region are gathering in Vienna to discuss key issues in security, human rights, democracy, and economic-environmental challenges. The OSCE PA’s 25th Winter Meeting will provide an opportunity for interaction between the parliamentary and governmental sides of the OSCE, and for parliamentarians to begin preparing for the OSCE PA’s 33rd Annual Session in The Hague this July.
The opening session on Thursday will include addresses by the President of the Austrian National Council, Walter Rosenkranz; Ruslan Stefanchuk, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine; OSCE PA President Pere Joan Pons, and OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioğlu.
Speaker of the Parliament of Denmark Søren Gade and Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe President Petra Bayr will deliver keynote addresses at the general debate “Human Rights as a Basis for Security” on Friday.
The First Committee will meet for discussions on Ukraine and regional peace, with presentations from OSCE representatives. The Second Committee will hold a debate on geoeconomics, technology, and security. The Third Committee will focus on election integrity and hybrid threats, featuring a keynote by European Commissioner Michael McGrath.
