Haryana to Create Posts at All Levels for Newly Formed Hansi District Before Budget Session
Chandigarh, February 18 – The Haryana Government has initiated steps to ensure the smooth administrative functioning of the newly created district of Hansi by approving the creation of requisite posts at all levels prior to the commencement of the Budget Session 2026.
According to a letter issued by the Chief Secretary, Mr. Anurag Rastogi, to all Administrative Secretaries, it has been decided that necessary posts under Group A, Group B, Group C and Group D categories will be created to strengthen the administrative setup in the new district.
All departments have been requested to assess the requirement of posts under their respective administrative control and initiate necessary action on a priority basis. They have also been directed to ensure that all required posts are created within the stipulated timeline.
Further, an Action Taken Report in this regard has been sought to be submitted to the Human Resources Department at the earliest.

Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini announced several major development projects to strengthen healthcare, roads, irrigation and basic infrastructure in the Uchana Assembly constituency of Jind district. He said that the Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board will construct a new additional grain market and a Market Committee office building in Uchana.
The Chief Minister was addressing a Dhanyawad rally in Uchana on Wednesday. On the occasion, he announced Rs. 5 crore for the development of the Uchana Assembly constituency. He also announced Rs. 11 lakh each for the Brahmin Dharamshala in Uchana city, as well as for Dharamshalas of the Backward Classes and the Aggarwal community.
He said that the canal of Mogha No. 3600-L Badhana Minor in village Thua will be paved at a cost of Rs. 75 lakh. Remodeling of various watercourses in the Uchana constituency and six waterways will also be carried out at a cost of Rs.3.72 crore.
The Chief Minister said that new buildings will be constructed for Primary Health Centres in Ghogharia and Uchana Khurd, while the Primary Health Centre at Karsindhu will be upgraded to a Community Health Centre. These works will cost around Rs. 20 crore.
He also announced the augmentation of the Barsola Sub Minor from RD 19000 to 36500. E-libraries and gyms will be opened in buildings donated by gram panchayats under the Panchayati Raj Department in the Uchana Assembly constituency. The road from Kahsoon-Baroda to Baba Nagdev Temple will be widened to 18 feet. Anganwadi centres will be constructed in villages Safa Kheri, Tarkha, Sudkain Khurd and Thua.
In village Kahsoon, the water works will be renovated, a boosting station and water treatment plant will be set up, and new pipelines will be laid at a cost of Rs. 3 crore.
The Chief Minister also announced Rs. 9 crore for improving the old and incomplete sewerage system in Uchana town. In village Pega, the drainage scheme will be expanded and DI pipeline laid, costing about Rs. 9.33 crore. Village Karsindhu will be included in the Mahagram Yojana, under which a sewerage system and STP will be installed at a cost of around Rs. 50 crore.
He announced construction of 15 additional classrooms and other works in Government High School Ghaso, Government Senior Secondary School Kasuhan, Government Secondary School Bighana, Government Girls Senior Secondary School Alewa and Government Secondary School Khanda. A committee will be formed to complete the Barsola Minor and Dhakal Head works.
The Chief Minister said that the TSC and old grain market in Uchana will undergo special repair. The Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board would widen and repair old roads in various villages of the Uchana constituency at a cost of approximately Rs.5 crore, and would also construct 25 km of new roads. A total of 146 roads covering 122 km under the DNP period will be repaired as required by the concerned agency. Similarly, Seven roads of 15 km length are under construction, while two roads of 3 km length will undergo special repair at a cost of Rs. 51.61 lakh.
He further said that 18 Public Works Department roads in the Uchana Assembly constituency covering 68 km will undergo special repairs and renovations at a cost of Rs. 32.75 crore. Besides this, 146 PWD roads covering 617 km in the Uchana Assembly constituency, currently under DNP, will be repaired by agencies as per requirement. Construction of 88 roads covering 392 km is in progress. Special repair of 10 roads covering 54 km will be carried out at a cost of Rs.26 crore.
The Chief Minister also announced that 25 km of kachha pathways in the Uchana Assembly constituency will be paved.
