From Shelves to Self-Worth: A Quiet Revolution Led by Autistic Hands

They Are Ready to Contribute—Is Society Ready to Support?

Hyderabad, Feb 2026 : At E-6, Vikrampuri Colony, Karkhana, Secunderabad, a quiet but powerful transformation is unfolding. The newly opened AVSEC Senior Wing does not announce itself with noise or spectacle. Instead, it speaks through gentle determination, steady hands, and hopeful eyes. This space is not just a building—it is a promise. A promise that adulthood for children with autism does not have to mean isolation, helplessness, or invisibility. It can mean dignity, purpose, and pride.

For too long, society has asked only one question of children with special needs: What can they not do?
AVSEC dares to ask a different one: What happens when we give them a chance?

SamRiddhi: Where Confidence Is the Real Product

At the heart of the Senior Wing lives SamRiddhi, a small, student-run store with an enormous soul. On its shelves are groceries, stationery items, nursery plants, candles, diyas, and handmade products created with patience and care. But what SamRiddhi truly sells cannot be measured in kilograms or rupees.

It sells self-belief.

For our autistic young adults, SamRiddhi is a classroom without walls. Here, learning is real, immediate, and deeply human. A student greets a customer—maybe hesitantly at first, then with growing confidence. Another explains a product, counts change, arranges shelves, or carefully packs groceries. Mistakes happen. Corrections follow. Growth quietly takes root.

Each transaction is more than a sale.
It is a conversation.
A responsibility.
A step toward independence.

When someone chooses a candle made by one of our students or buys rice measured and packed by their hands, it sends a message louder than words ever could:
“You matter. Your work matters. You belong here.”

Nearly 50 Children, Nearly 50 Dreams

Today, AVSEC’s Junior and Senior Wings together nurture nearly 50 children, each with unique abilities, sensitivities, and strengths. Each child belongs to a family. And every family, without exception, has a kitchen.

A kitchen cannot run without groceries.

That simple truth connects us all—and it gives us a powerful opportunity to support our children in the most natural way possible.

We humbly appeal to all parents and well-wishers:
Please consider purchasing your grocery needs from SamRiddhi.

Our children are carefully measuring, packing, labeling, and preparing every item with sincerity and pride. Quality is being monitored. Hygiene is being ensured. Most importantly, self-worth is being built—one order at a time.

This is not charity.
This is participation.

Your Purchase Is Their Courage

When you buy from SamRiddhi, you are not just filling your pantry. You are filling a young adult’s heart with confidence. You are telling them, “I trust you.” You are showing them that effort is rewarded, that work has value, and that they are capable contributors to society.

You can directly message your grocery requirements. Orders will be packed with care and kept ready. Behind every bag is a child waiting—not for sympathy, but for belief.

We earnestly request parents to reduce purchasing groceries from outside as much as possible and choose SamRiddhi instead. This small shift, when made together, can create something extraordinary.

Let Us Walk This Path Together

These are our children.
This is their future.
And this journey cannot be walked alone.

Let us stand united as one family—parents, educators, and community members. Let us make SamRiddhi strong, sustainable, and successful. Because when society chooses inclusion over convenience, something beautiful happens.

Abilities shine.
Hearts open.
And children who were once underestimated finally get the space they deserve—to grow, to contribute, and to thrive.

Team Maverick.
