Jaipur, February 2026 : Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Sunday attended the Indian Air Force’s Suryakiran Aerobatic Team and Sarang Helicopter Display at the embankment of Jal Mahal, in the august presence of Governor Haribhau Bagade.

Praising the valour, courage, and technical excellence of the Indian Air Force, the Chief Minister said the event was a matter of pride for Jaipur. He noted that following the grand and successful Army Day Parade, this spectacular Air Force display further proved that Jaipur is fully prepared to host major national events.

Sharma said that under the capable leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the stature of India’s armed forces continues to rise. He highlighted that the Air Force not only safeguards the nation’s borders but also emerges as a beacon of hope during natural disasters and public health emergencies.

The Chief Minister lauded the breathtaking skills of the Suryakiran Aerobatic Team and the Sarang Helicopter Display Team, saying their precision flying and synchronized manoeuvres left the audience spellbound. He proudly noted that three pilots of the Suryakiran team—Wing Commander Rajesh Kajla, Wing Commander Ankit Vashishth, and Squadron Leader Sanjesh Singh—hail from Jaipur, and have achieved excellence through years of rigorous training, discipline, and exceptional skill.

Sharma said the event celebrated the unbreakable bond between civilians and the armed forces, and that such programmes inspire youth to consider careers in the military while strengthening national pride and awareness about the defence services. After the programme concluded, the Chief Minister went among the gathered crowd to acknowledge and greet them.

Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, Chief Secretary V. Srinivas, Director General of Police Rajeev Kumar Sharma, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the South Western Air Command Air Marshal Tejinder Singh, Sapta Shakti Command Army Commander Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, along with other public representatives, senior officials, and a large number of citizens were present on the occasion.

Over Jal Mahal, the Sarang team showcased remarkable precision and coordination, forming aerial patterns such as the Sarang Split, Arrowhead, Dolphin Leap, Level Cross, High-Speed Cross, Crossover Break, Diamond, and the Inverted Wine Glass.

The Suryakiran team thrilled spectators with formations including the Inverted Run, Barrel Roll, Bomb Burst, DNA structure, and a heart shape in the sky, conveying the Air Force’s salute to the people of Jaipur. The pilots’ cockpit calls of “Khammaghani” and “Ram-Ram Sa” became a special highlight for the audience.
