Union Minister Raksha Khadse Reviews Preparations for August 25th Event in Jalgaon

Jalgaon : In preparation for the upcoming ‘Lakhpatididi’ women’s gathering on August 25th, which will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Raksha Khadse instructed the district administration to ensure proper food, water, and toilet facilities for the women attending the event.

Divisional Commissioner Dr. Praveen Gedam, Collector Ayush Prasad, Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Ankit, District Superintendent of Police Dr. Maheshwar Reddy, Jalgaon Municipal Commissioner Dnyaneshwar Dhere, Rural Development Project Director and program coordinator R.S. Lokhande, and nodal officers from the concerned departments were present during the review.

Parking Arrangements

Minister Raksha Khadse emphasized the importance of convenient parking facilities for buses arriving at the event, noting that while this is the responsibility of the Municipal Corporation, coordination with the police is essential. She urged the relevant agencies to remain vigilant regarding parking arrangements.

Event Guidelines

Attendees are advised not to bring bags or water bottles to the event venue, as water stations have been arranged in each sector. The department responsible for this should communicate the message effectively. Additionally, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Praveen Gedam suggested numbering each bus to help women easily locate their vehicles. He also stressed that all assigned responsibilities should be carried out properly, and a follow-up review will be conducted.

Collector Ayush Prasad gave a presentation outlining the entire program and detailing each department’s responsibilities.

Venue Inspection

Union Minister Raksha Khadse, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Praveen Gedam, and Collector Ayush Prasad also inspected the ongoing work at the venue in front of the airport, where the program will be held.
