6 students of PM Shri School of the state get a chance to interact with the Union Education Minister
Six students of PM Shri schools run under the PM Shri scheme of the Central Government got a chance to interact with Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan during their visit to New Delhi. During the conversation, these students gave information about the activities of PM Shri School and the teaching system implemented in it. 6 students of PM Shri School had recently gone to New Delhi to attend the 78th Independence Day celebrations. The students who got this opportunity include Mehak of Bhopal, Umesh of Panna, Aman of Sidhi, Pranali of Betul, Nitisha of Jabalpur and Parul of Khandwa. 100 students from different states of the country had reached New Delhi in this programme.
These students were selected in the state on the basis of their better performance in Prerna Utsav, Kala Utsav, Inspire Award, NMMS and Wrestling activities. The selected students also visited India Gate and Prime Minister Museum in New Delhi during the visit. During this exposure visit, the students got a chance to learn a lot. It was a unique opportunity in their life to witness the Independence Day celebrations held at the national level in New Delhi. Such programmes also encourage other students to come forward to achieve excellence and gain such experiences.
PM Shri Yojana in the state
PM Shri Yojana is an ambitious scheme to gradually improve the quality of school education and make the education system more robust with the cooperation of the Centre and the State. The scheme was launched in September 2022. The financial arrangement of the scheme is 60 percent central share and 40 percent state share. In the scheme, 2 high schools and higher secondary or middle, primary schools are selected from each development block of the state. These schools are developed in such a way that they can serve as an excellent example for other nearby schools. Under the scheme, arrangements are also being made for development of garden near the selected school, National Invention Campaign, vocational education, sports facilities, library and lab etc in schools. The selected schools are being developed on the lines of ‘Green School’. Besides this, facilities like digital library, ICT lab and smart classes etc. are also being provided to the students.
