PM: Committed to Upholding Dignity and Respect for Divyang Citizens

PM shares a post written by him on the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities

Sharing a post written by himself on the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi reiterated the Government’s commitment to the honour and self-respect of our Divyang brothers and sisters across the country.

In a post on X, he wrote:

“देशभर के अपने दिव्यांग भाई-बहनों के सम्मान और स्वाभिमान के लिए हमारी सरकार संकल्पबद्ध है। बीते 10 वर्षों में हमने उनके लिए जो नीतियां बनाईं और निर्णय लिए, वो इसके प्रत्यक्ष प्रमाण हैं। आज अंतरराष्ट्रीय दिव्यांग दिवस पर उन्हें समर्पित मेरे कुछ शब्द…”

“A decade of working to empower our Divyang sisters and brothers! Penned a few thoughts on a day when we are marking #9YearsOfSugamyaBharat.”
