Arjun Tendulkar Marries Entrepreneur Sania Chandhok in Star-Studded Mumbai Ceremony

Mumbai, March 2026 : In a grand ceremony attended by prominent personalities from the worlds of cricket, politics, and business, cricketer Arjun Tendulkar tied the knot with entrepreneur Sania Chandhok at a luxurious wedding held in Mumbai on Thursday. The event took place at the iconic The St. Regis Mumbai and marked a joyous occasion for the family of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, who was conferred India’s highest civilian honour, the Bharat Ratna.

The wedding brought together several distinguished guests from different fields, making it one of the most talked-about social gatherings in Mumbai. Among the prominent attendees were Devendra Fadnavis and Eknath Shinde, who personally attended the ceremony and extended their blessings to the newlyweds.

Sharing his joy on the social media platform X, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said he was delighted to be present at the wedding and witness the beginning of a new chapter in the couple’s lives. He congratulated Sachin Tendulkar and his family on the joyous occasion and wished Arjun and Sania a happy and prosperous married life.

Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also shared a heartfelt message online, referring to Sachin Tendulkar as the “Vikramaditya of the cricket world.” In his post, Shinde mentioned that he attended the ceremony at the St. Regis Hotel and presented a bouquet to the newly married couple while conveying his best wishes for their future together. He also noted the presence of Chief Minister Fadnavis at the event.

Several other political leaders also joined in celebrating the union. Aaditya Thackeray, a leader of the Shiv Sena (UBT), congratulated the couple and wished them happiness and success in their new journey together.

Arjun Tendulkar and Sania Chandhok had previously kept their relationship largely private. The couple got engaged in a private ceremony in August 2025, attended by close family members and friends. Preparations for the wedding began earlier this year, with arrangements reportedly starting in March as the families planned an elegant yet intimate celebration.

Following in the footsteps of his legendary father, Arjun Tendulkar has been pursuing a career in professional cricket. A left-arm pacer and lower-order batter, he currently represents Goa cricket team in domestic competitions. He previously played for the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League and has recently joined the Lucknow Super Giants ahead of the upcoming season.

Sania Chandhok, on the other hand, comes from a prominent business family in Mumbai. She is the granddaughter of industrialist Ravi Ghai, who serves as chairman of the Gravis Group. Sania has carved out her own professional identity as an entrepreneur in the field of pet care and animal welfare. She has worked as a veterinary technician and has been actively involved in initiatives related to animal health and care.
