CM Bhajanlal Sharma Releases Army Day Parade Compilation
Jaipur, March 2026 : Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma released a compilation book and a short film on the Army Day Parade 2026 and honored officers who contributed to the successful organization of the event.
Speaking at the release ceremony held at the Chief Minister’s Office, the Chief Minister said the historic parade held on the occasion of the 78th Indian Army Day helped build a strong bridge between the Indian Army and the general public. He said the parade spread the spirit of national unity, patriotism, and military pride among people.
He noted that for the first time in the country, the Army Day Parade was held outside a cantonment area and among citizens in Jaipur, calling it a matter of pride for everyone. He added that January 15, 2026, will be remembered in the history of Rajasthan as a landmark date, as the grand parade marked the beginning of a new tradition in the state.
Grand Parade Left a Strong Impression
The Chief Minister said Rajasthan is known as the land of bravery as well as devotion. The Army Day Parade gave the younger generation an opportunity to learn about the sacrifice, dedication, hard work, and vision of the armed forces and inspired them to serve the nation. He added that the success of the event was made possible through the cooperation of various departments and the enthusiastic participation of the public.
Result of Strong Coordination
Sharma said public participation is the real strength of any national celebration. The Army Day Parade received overwhelming support and enthusiasm from citizens, making it a grand success. He credited the success of the event to effective coordination among various departments, each of which fulfilled its responsibilities diligently. He also praised the discipline and dedication of the Indian Army, saying their efforts made the parade exceptional.
Compilation Reflects the Event’s Journey
The Chief Minister said the compilation of the Army Day Parade reflects the hard work, planning, and coordination involved in organizing the event. It will help people understand the soldiers’ drills, deployment of equipment, and public participation during the parade. He added that the compilation also represents the sentiments of the eight crore people of Rajasthan.
Book and Short Film Released
During the programme, the Chief Minister released the Army Day Parade 2026 compilation book and short film, which was also screened at the event. He said the brave soldiers of the Indian Army have kept the nation safe and proud through their courage, sacrifice, and dedication. The compilation will provide an opportunity to remember their heroic stories. He also called for the short film to be shown in schools, colleges, and public forums.
Officers Honoured
The Chief Minister presented certificates of appreciation to administrative, police, and military officers who played a key role in the successful organization of the parade. Those honoured included Naveen Jain, Principal Secretary (General Administration); Sachin Mittal, Police Commissioner of Jaipur; Krishna Kunal, Secretary, School Education; Jitendra Kumar Soni, District Collector of Jaipur; Major General Amar Ramdasani, General In-charge (Administration), South Western Command; Colonel Sandeep Sridharan; and Colonel Harinder Sumra.
The event was also attended by Chief Secretary V. Srinivas, Army Commander of the Sapta Shakti Command Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, along with senior officials from various departments and the Indian Army.
