Jaipur, June 2026: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Pachpadra in Balotra district on July 4, where he will dedicate the Pachpadra Refinery to the nation. During the visit, he will also lay the foundation stone for Jaipur Metro Phase-2 and inaugurate as well as launch several development projects across Rajasthan.
The Prime Minister will also distribute appointment letters to newly selected candidates for various government jobs, marking a significant occasion for thousands of young people across the state.
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma reviewed preparations for the Prime Minister’s proposed visit during a meeting held at the Chief Minister’s residence on Wednesday. He issued detailed instructions to ensure the smooth conduct of what he described as a historic event.
Youth Across Rajasthan to Participate Virtually
The Chief Minister said receiving an appointment letter for a government job is one of the proudest moments in a young person’s life. He directed officials to organize special programmes in every district and connect the appointment letter recipients, public representatives, and citizens virtually with the Prime Minister’s main event.
He emphasized that programmes should be organized at every level—from Gram Panchayats to district headquarters—to ensure broad public participation. According to him, the event should become a celebration of development, employment generation, and citizen engagement.
Timely Completion of Preparations
Sharma described the Pachpadra Refinery as a landmark project that will significantly contribute to Rajasthan’s industrial growth, investment promotion, and job creation. He instructed officials to complete all arrangements related to the inauguration well in advance.
The Chief Minister also called for strengthening security measures at the refinery complex and ensuring a robust monitoring system. He stressed that all logistical and operational arrangements should be flawless, leaving no room for shortcomings during the event.
Focus on Environmental Awareness and Energy Conservation
The Chief Minister directed refinery management to undertake an extensive tree plantation drive as part of the celebrations, emphasizing that environmental protection should be a key message of the programme.
He further instructed officials to create awareness about fuel conservation and energy efficiency during events organized across the state. Highlighting Prime Minister Modi’s consistent emphasis on the dignity of labour, Sharma said workers associated with the refinery project should be meaningfully involved in the programme.
Comprehensive Arrangements Ordered
Officials were directed to ensure adequate arrangements for visitor seating, drinking water facilities, parking, security, traffic management, and other essential services at the venue.
The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary V. Srinivas, Director General of Police Rajeev Kumar Sharma, senior officials from HRRL, and representatives from various departments. Divisional Commissioners, Inspectors General of Police, District Collectors, and other officials from different districts also participated through video conferencing, along with representatives of HPCL.
