Mauritius High Commissioner Sheila Bappoo Meets Maharashtra Deputy CM Sunetra Ajit Pawar

Mumbai, March 2026 :Sheila Bappoo, the High Commissioner of the Mauritius to India, paid a courtesy visit to Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Ajit Pawar on Monday evening at the official residence Devgiri in Mumbai.

During the meeting, Sunetra Pawar and Sheila Bappoo held detailed discussions on strengthening India–Mauritius relations. They also discussed the historical and cultural ties between Maharashtra and Mauritius, along with opportunities for trade and investment, tourism promotion, and cultural exchanges.

The discussion focused on enhancing cooperation and building stronger connections between the two regions in multiple sectors.

The meeting was also attended by Mauritius Consul General D. K. Baktowar, Deputy Chief Minister’s Secretary Rajesh Deshmukh, and Dayanand Bappoo.
