The public welfare schemes of the government should be implemented at the grassroots level – Minister-in-charge Shri Devangan
Commerce and Industry and Labor Minister and Minister in charge of Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai district, Shri Lakhanlal Devangan reviewed the development works by holding a meeting of officials in the meeting hall of District Collectorate Khairagarh today. In the meeting, Minister Shri Devangan said that the public welfare schemes of the government should be implemented at the grassroots level and its better benefits should reach the common citizens on priority. He inspired all the officials to perform their duties responsibly and work for public welfare.
Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha MP Mr Santosh Pandey, Khairagarh MLA Mrs Yashoda Verma, Superintendent of Police Mr Trilok Bansal, District Panchayat Rajnandgaon Chief Executive Officer Ms Suruchi Singh, Additional Collector along with other departmental officers and public representatives were present in the review meeting.
While reviewing the health department, Minister Shri Devangan asked to identify a place for the construction of the district hospital as soon as possible. Apart from this, he also directed to work swiftly towards starting a blood bank in the district. Along with this, the health department officials were directed to work promptly for the prevention of seasonal diseases.
Similarly, while reviewing the Jal Jeevan Mission scheme, Minister Shri Devangan instructed the officials of the Public Health Engineering Department to ensure that instead of just completing the scheme, they also ensure that water reaches every household.
In the meeting, Minister Shri Devangan said that the country’s successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai think that the benefits of every scheme should reach the maximum number of people, all departments should work in coordination in this direction. He said that this is a new district, there is a shortage of resources right now, but in the coming times, the area will not be allowed to face any kind of shortage in the Vishnu Dev government. During this, the public representatives made Minister Shri Devangan aware of the problems of the district.
Collector Shri Chandrakant Verma assured the Minister-in-Charge Shri Devangan that as per the government’s intention, the district administration is making continuous efforts by preparing a better action plan to ensure that the benefits of the government’s ambitious schemes reach the common people. In the meeting, ambitious schemes like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Mahtari Vandan Yojana, PM Ujjwala Yojana, PM Vishwakarma Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission etc. along with departmental schemes and activities like education, labour, employment, forest etc. were discussed in detail and encouraged to bring the necessary progress in accordance with the target.
