State Budget 2026–27 Lays Foundation for Dholpur’s Holistic Development

Jaipur, March 2026 : Minister of State for Home and Dholpur District In-charge Minister Jawahar Singh Bedham addressed a press conference at the Dholpur Collectorate on Thursday, sharing detailed information about key state and district-level announcements in the State Budget 2026–27.

He said that the budget, presented under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, is designed to ensure balanced, inclusive, and forward-looking development across Rajasthan. It is dedicated to the principle of Antyodaya, focusing on the welfare of women, youth, farmers, labourers, and the most marginalized sections of society.

Extending greetings on Rajasthan Day, Navratri, and the Hindu New Year, the minister highlighted the launch of the Mukhyamantri Viksit Gram-Ward Abhiyan as a historic step towards rural development. He said the campaign aims to strengthen basic infrastructure in villages and urban wards, ensure effective implementation of welfare schemes, and bring qualitative improvement in citizens’ living standards. Gram Sabhas and Ward Sabhas will be held on March 20 as part of the initiative.

Bedham emphasized that the government’s goal is not just development, but ensuring that its benefits reach every citizen. He said the campaign will translate the vision of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas into reality through transparency, accountability, and public participation.

He further stated that extensive surveys will be conducted at the village and ward levels to assess development needs. Based on these findings, coordinated implementation of schemes related to drinking water, sanitation, roads, electricity, healthcare, education, nutrition, and social security will be ensured, with clear action plans prepared for each area.

Speaking about the “Nasha Mukt Dholpur” campaign, he said substance abuse is not just a bad habit but a serious threat that weakens individuals, families, and the future. He urged youth to adopt a healthy lifestyle and stay away from drugs. To curb illegal drug trade, an Anti-Narcotics Task Force has been formed, and 237 posts have been created at police stations and outposts.

The press conference was attended by MLA Jaswant Singh Gurjar, District Collector Srinidhi B.T., Superintendent of Police Vikas Sangwan, and other officials and journalists.
