Devotees will be Provided Facilities Without Any Shortcoming: CM Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Thursday inspected under-construction ghats on Kshipra river in Ujjain. He stated that no shortcomings will be left in providing facilities to devotees. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also reviewed new ghats being constructed on Kshipra river between Shri Angareshwar and Shri Siddhavat. These ghats are being prepared keeping in view the upcoming Simhastha Mahaparv-2028, for bathing and other facilities for devotees. Various arrangements are being made at ghats for convenience of devotees.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav instructed that arrangements for changing clothes be made for devotees within approximately 200 meters of newly constructed ghats, along with construction of toilets at convenient locations. He also directed that facility centres be developed at intervals of about 200 meters at major ghats, so that devotees do not face any inconvenience. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav instructed officials to ensure steps or other access routes at intervals of about 500 meters around ghats, to make movement of devotees smooth and access to main ghats easier.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also inspected under-construction bridge between Shri Siddhavat and Shri Angareshwar Temple. Officials informed that construction of bridge will facilitate smooth movement between both major religious places and provide an alternative route for devotees. Ghats are being constructed with a width of approximately 5 meters for bathing, ensuring sufficient space for movement as well as seating for devotees. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also directed development of seating and other essential facilities at ghats.
