IndiGo to Launch 30+ Routes from Navi Mumbai Airport, Boosting Regional Connectivity

New Delhi, March 2026 : IndiGo on Sunday announced the launch of more than 30 new routes from the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport between March 29 and April 23, marking a significant expansion of its domestic network.

The airline said it will connect the new airport to several key destinations across the country, including Agra, Ayodhya, Bagdogra, Belgaum, Chandigarh, Diu, Kannur, Kolkata, Patna, Rajkot, Srinagar, Varanasi, and Visakhapatnam, among others. With this expansion, IndiGo plans to operate over 400 weekly departures from Navi Mumbai, enhancing travel convenience and strengthening regional connectivity.

The airport has been developed and is operated by Adani Airports Holdings Limited, a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises Limited. It is considered one of India’s largest greenfield airport projects and has been completed in record time, positioning it as a major aviation hub for the region.

In addition to the new routes, IndiGo has commenced twice-daily direct flights between Bhavnagar and Navi Mumbai from Sunday. This new connection is expected to improve accessibility within Gujarat and provide passengers with more efficient travel options. The airline is operating these services using its ATR aircraft, known for their suitability on short regional routes.

Earlier this month, IndiGo also announced the launch of direct flights to Jamnagar, scheduled to begin on April 23, 2026. With these additions, the airline will serve six cities in Gujarat — Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, and Jamnagar — operating over 1,400 weekly flights to and from the state, which remains a key industrial and commercial hub.

Separately, IndiGo recently entered into a strategic partnership with Adani Airports Holdings Limited aimed at enhancing passenger experience. Under this collaboration, members of IndiGo’s BluChip loyalty programme will be able to earn rewards on duty-free purchases made across airports managed by AAHL.

Passengers can earn five BluChips for every Rs 100 spent on duty-free products pre-booked through the Adani platform. The initiative allows travellers to browse, reserve, and pay for items online before departure and conveniently collect them at the airport.

Commenting on the development, Suchit Bansal, CEO (Non-Aero) at AAHL, said the company is working to transform airport retail by integrating digital discovery, pre-order convenience, and seamless product collection.

The expansion of routes and new partnerships underline IndiGo’s continued focus on growth, improved connectivity, and enhanced passenger services in India’s rapidly evolving aviation sector.
