Women’s Football: Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand enter the final.

Raipur, March 2026 : The semifinal matches of the women’s football competition held at Swami Vivekananda Athletics Stadium, Kota, under the Khelo India Tribal Games 2026 were full of excitement and excellent performances.

In the first semifinal, a closely contested match was witnessed between Chhattisgarh and Arunachal Pradesh. Both teams were tied at 2-2 at the end of regulation time. The match was then decided through a penalty shootout, where Chhattisgarh delivered an impressive performance to defeat Arunachal Pradesh 6-5 and secure a place in the final.

In the second semifinal, Jharkhand registered a one-sided victory against Gujarat. Displaying aggressive play, the Jharkhand team defeated Gujarat 9-0. By the end of the first half, Jharkhand had already built a strong 4-0 lead, which they extended further in the second half to complete a dominant win.

With this, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand will now face each other in the final, where an exciting contest for the title is expected.
