New ‘Water Resources Bhawan’ in Kota to be Inaugurated on April 5
Jaipur, April 2026 : In a significant development for the Water Resources Department, the newly constructed ‘Water Resources Bhawan’ located in Nayapura, Kota, will be inaugurated on April 5, 2026 (Sunday) at 1:00 PM.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will attend the समारोह as the chief guest, while Water Resources Minister Suresh Singh Rawat will preside over the event. The function will also be graced by Education and Panchayati Raj Minister Madan Dilawar, Minister of State for Energy Hiralal Nagar, Kota South MLA Sandeep Sharma, and Ladpura MLA Kalpana Devi.
Constructed at an estimated cost of approximately ₹11.90 crore, the modern भवन has been designed to enhance the efficiency of departmental operations and provide a well-organised and fully equipped working environment for engineers and staff. It is expected to play a key role in making the functioning of the Water Resources Department more effective, transparent, and streamlined.
The building comprises a ground floor and four additional floors, equipped with office rooms, meeting halls, pantry, storage spaces, and electrical facilities, along with all other essential amenities. The परिसर also includes adequate parking facilities, lifts, and staircases to ensure smooth and convenient movement within the building.
