Minister Laxmi Rajwade Launches Development Projects Worth Rs 13.22 Crore
Raipur, April 2026: In a significant push toward strengthening rural infrastructure, Chhattisgarh Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Minister Laxmi Rajwade inaugurated three major development projects worth over Rs 13.22 crore in the Odgi and Bhaiyathan development blocks of the Bhatgaon assembly constituency.
The Minister inaugurated the construction of a bridge over Kagaj Nala in Hariharpur village (Chhatarang Road) under the Odgi development block, with an estimated cost of Rs 419.37 lakh.
She also launched the renovation of a reservoir in Sanwarawa village of Bhaiyathan development block, costing Rs 136.23 lakh. In addition, she performed the foundation laying ceremony for a nearly 5-km-long road from the Pratappur–Bhaiyathan main road to Parsapara, with a project cost of Rs 766.37 lakh.
Addressing the gathering, Minister Rajwade said that the state government is prioritizing rural development and continuously expanding essential infrastructure. She stated that the completion of these projects will bring positive changes to people’s lives and lead the Bhatgaon region toward a new phase of development.
These initiatives will strengthen road connectivity, bridge infrastructure, and water resources in the region, improving transportation and supporting agriculture and the local economy.
The event was attended by Forest Development Corporation Chairman Ramsevak Paikra, other public representatives, administrative officials, and a large number of local residents.
