27th National e-Governance Conference Inaugurated by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on 3rd September.
Mumbai : The ’27th National e-Governance Conference 2024,’ organized in collaboration with the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, the Department of Administrative Innovation, Excellence, and Good Governance Sub-Division of the State Government, and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of the Central Government, will be held on 3rd and 4th September 2024 at the Jio World Convention Centre, Bandra-Kurla Complex, Mumbai.
The conference, hosted by the state of Maharashtra, will revolve around the theme ‘Viksit Bharat: Secure and Sustainable e-Service Delivery.’
Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office, will preside over the conference, which will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar will be present at the conclusion of the event. Additionally, School Education, Marathi Language, and Mumbai City Guardian Minister Deepak Kesarkar, along with Skills, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Minister, and Mumbai Suburban Guardian Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha, will also attend.
The conference aims to share best practices in good governance and e-governance. It will also introduce new names for the sub-divisions of the Administrative Reforms, Structure, and Procedures of the General Administration Department. The event will feature six main sessions and six sub-sessions, where speakers and awardees from the government, academia, and industry will discuss and exchange ideas on innovative e-governance methods. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will deliver keynote speeches, and Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State, will present the awards. Registration for awardees, speakers, and other participants has commenced on the portal www.nceg.gov.in.
