Youth Affairs Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore Attends Ladnun Visit, Urges Youth to Embrace Ethics and Drug-Free Living

Jaipur, April 2026: Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore visited Ladnun in Didwana-Kuchaman district on Monday, where he participated in a youth conference held at Jain Vishva Bharati. The event, organised by the Akhil Bharatiya Terapanth Yuvak Parishad at the Yuva Alok Bhavan, brought together young participants from across regions to engage in discussions on nation-building and values.

During his visit, Rathore also met Acharya Mahashraman and sought his blessings. Addressing the gathering, he highlighted the importance of humanity, ethics, harmony, and a drug-free lifestyle, urging young people to adopt these principles in their daily lives.

Rathore said that Acharya Mahashraman has been spreading a universal message of peace, morality, and discipline, which holds great relevance in today’s world. He emphasised that such teachings are essential for building a strong and united society.

Speaking on the idea of “Indianness,” Rathore noted that it binds people together and reflects a shared identity. “A nation with strong values and ideas becomes strong itself,” he said, adding that these values are imparted through religion, teachers, and spiritual guides. However, he clarified that religion should not be seen in terms of caste or sect, but as a reflection of duty and action. “Karma is Dharma, and Dharma is Karma,” he remarked.

Quoting Swami Vivekananda, Rathore said that even 100 dedicated youth with a vision for nation-building can transform the country. He stressed that India needs such committed and principled young individuals who can guide the nation in the right direction.

Expressing concern over the growing issue of substance abuse among youth, Rathore warned that addiction weakens families, society, and the nation as a whole. He urged young people to stay away from drugs and focus on constructive pursuits that contribute to personal and national growth.

The minister also underlined the importance of platforms like youth conferences, which facilitate the exchange of ideas and foster mutual understanding. Such events, he said, not only help young individuals connect with each other but also strengthen national unity.

He concluded by stating that the world today urgently needs values like humanity and ethics, and India is in a unique position to lead by example. Rathore called upon the youth to recognise their responsibilities towards the nation and work collectively, guided by moral principles and inspiration from their mentors, to build a stronger and more united India.
