Union Minister of State for Personnel, Dr. Jitendra Singh, honored Madhya Pradesh at a prestigious function in New Delhi. The award was received by Shri Sachin Sinha, Director General of the RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration and Management. He provided continuous guidance to public servants and ensured coordination among departments.
Director Shri Mujiburrahman Khan stated that the recognition at the national level was achieved through the combined efforts of the academy staff and various departments. The academy was also awarded for its significant contribution in preparing AI-based capacity-building action plans for departments.
At the state level, the Tribal Affairs Department secured first position in the category of departments with more than 10,000 public servants, delivering outstanding performance. Tribal Affairs Minister Dr. Kunwar Vijay Shah congratulated all officers and employees of the department, stating that training is a continuous process and efficiency is essential for successfully implementing public welfare works.
What happened during Sadhana Week?
The objective of Sadhana Week was to strengthen the governance system through training and capacity building of government employees. Public servants were encouraged to adopt various training methods and complete courses available on the iGOT Karmayogi platform.
Framework of Sadhana Week was based on three pillars
Technology, Tradition, and Tangible Results Each officer/employee was given a target to complete at least 5 training courses. Groups of 4–5 members were formed in each department, including departmental heads and officials from establishment and technical branches. Similar groups were formed at divisional, district, block, and office levels.
Under the program, government employees and contractual staff were assigned at least 10 training courses based on their roles. Those completing at least three AI courses were awarded the “AI Daksh Badge.”
Leading in Digital Training
Madhya Pradesh has become the first state to develop the highest number of digital training courses on the iGOT portal and ranks third in registering the highest number of public servants on the platform.
It is noteworthy that Mission Karmayogi was launched in 2020 on the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aiming to enhance the efficiency of public servants and enable them to perform their roles as citizen-centric “Karmayogis.”
This platform allows government officials and employees to undergo training anytime, anywhere, according to their convenience. They can enroll in courses related to their departments as well as in courses from other departments based on their interests.
Leading in AI-based Capacity Building Plans
Madhya Pradesh is also a frontrunner in implementing the Capacity Building Policy, developed with inputs from the Capacity Building Commission. Capacity-building units have been established in all departments, and cadre-wise capacity development plans are being prepared after analyzing training needs.
There is also a provision for appointing Capacity Building Managers, who will be supported by these units and will prepare annual capacity-building plans.
A dashboard has been developed to reflect the efficiency of human resources across departments, enabling the Chief Minister to assess the availability of skilled personnel.
