CM Dr. Yadav will participate in the “Vimukt Diwas” programme
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will attend special programme organised at Ravindra Bhavan in Bhopal on Saturday at 3 pm on Vimukta Diwas. The Chief Minister will launch the departmental portal “Samartha”. Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare, Vimukt (Denotified), Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Welfare, Smt. Krishna Gaur and Chairman of Madhya Pradesh State Denotified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Caste Development Agency, Shri Babulal Banjara will be present as special guests.
Director Denotified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Shri Neeraj Vashishtha said that a total of 51 castes are included under the Denotified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic community in Madhya Pradesh. Out of these 51 castes, 30 castes have been classified as nomadic and semi-nomadic communities and 21 castes have been classified as Denotified communities. Out of these 51 castes, 14 castes come under scheduled castes and 10 castes come under other backward classes, the remaining 27 castes come under unreserved category.
