Resistance Front Stronger Than Ever, Stands With Hezbollah: IRGC Commander Esmaeil Qaani.

Beirut/Tehran; April 2026: The Lebanese Parliamentarian, Ayoub Hamid has praised Iran’s stance towards his country, in the face of Israeli aggression against Lebanon, emphasising his opposition to direct negotiations with the aggressive Israeli regime, with further adding Lebanon needs to boost its relations with friendly countries, in line with Tehran’s stance on the Israeli regime’s aggression. Calling the direct meeting with Israel harmful to national interests, the Lebanese parliamentarian expressed hope that President Joseph Aoun would not put himself into such a difficult position.

He said he did not mean a complete rejection of dialogue, rather insisted on its indirectness based on the previous principled position as was done in several cases, including Naqoura, or the mechanism and agreement related to the economic zone and oil and gas resources.

Hamid recalled Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri’s insistence on preserving Lebanon’s unity and deep-rooted Arab identity, saying any move that serves the country’s interests, strengthens its position, protects it from Israeli threats is a national priority. Referring to the Arab peace plan that was approved in Beirut, he clearly stated the peace was conditional on recognising the right of the Palestinian people to establish their own state in all their land.

The Israeli regime launched its war against Lebanon in March, last year, but met with a strong response from Hezbollah resistance forces. A US-backed ceasefire, which started on April 16 has brought a significant reduction in hostilities but the Israeli regime has kept breaching it, by repeatedly attacking various areas of Lebanon. At the same time, the Lebanese government began reconciliation talks with the Israeli regime under pressure from the United States, a move that has sparked condemnations from Hezbollah and other political and popular movements supporting the resistance.

As the Lebanese Parliamentarian praised the Iranian regime, Commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Esmaeil Qaani has emphasised the strength and unity of resistance forces alongside the heroic Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah.

Addressing the helplessness of the Israeli regime in the face of Lebanese youth’s resilience and determination in his message published today, the commander stated that the resistance front is stronger and more cohesive than ever, standing alongside the heroic Hezbollah. Qaani’s message highlights that Hezbollah’s heroic resistance proved that Western propaganda claiming the end of resistance and the destruction of the resistance movement is nothing more than mere lies.

He added that despite spending enormous expenditures and deploying extensive military and human resources, the regime remains desperate and helpless in the face of Lebanese youths’ initiative and perseverance, with this war-mongering regime (Israel) has failed to successfully conclude any conflicts over the past years, earning failure and shame in military operations, he noted.

Qaani reaffirmed that resistance forces are more unified and stronger than ever before. They are prepared to support oppressed Lebanese and Palestinian people whenever needed, and will crush the Israeli criminals’ wicked plans, forcing them to regret their malevolent actions, he said.

The remarks come amid Israeli assaults on Lebanon, carried out with the declared goal of destroying the Lebanese resistance movement. However, Hezbollah fighters have succeeded in inflicting personnel and equipment losses on the Israeli military in recent months.
