He noted that Lord Buddha attained enlightenment on this land, making it globally significant. He paid tribute to the spiritual legacy of India and emphasized the message of peace propagated by Lord Buddha.
The Chief Minister stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, continuous efforts are being made to develop India, while former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has undertaken several initiatives for Bihar’s progress, including improvements in roads, electricity, and water supply.
He said Bihar’s development is crucial for India’s overall growth, adding that efforts are being made to ensure employment opportunities within the state so that people do not have to migrate elsewhere. He emphasized that the government is working on the principle of inclusive development and justice for all.
Highlighting major upcoming projects, the Chief Minister announced that an industrial corridor will be developed over 1,700 acres, and a township named “Magadh” will be established across 22,000 acres. He also revealed plans to build a world-class museum in Gaya to showcase India’s heritage and culture to visitors from across the globe.
He further announced that the Vishnupad Corridor project will be initiated soon, and work will begin within a month to establish a Bodh Gaya Math corridor. The government is also working to attract investments worth approximately ₹5 lakh crore by November 20, 2026, and contracts worth up to ₹50 crore will be given to local youth to encourage employment and entrepreneurship.
The Chief Minister stated that the government will procure 30 percent of goods produced in Bihar to promote local industries, ensuring that economic benefits remain within the state. He also announced the launch of “Bihar Darshan” to highlight the state’s historical and cultural legacy.
Speaking on education, he emphasized that knowledge is the foundation of prosperity and announced plans to establish modern, high-quality schools accessible to all sections of society. He assured that good governance, law and order, and safety—especially for women and children—will remain top priorities.
The Chief Minister also said that strict action will be taken against crime and illegal encroachments, particularly on temple lands. He added that regular grievance redressal camps will be organized twice a month, with officials required to resolve issues within 30 days.
