Dy CM Diya Kumari Promotes Govt Schemes via ‘Gram Rath’ in Rajsamand
Jaipur, May 2026 : Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari on Tuesday said that the state government’s Gram Rath initiative has become an effective medium for taking welfare schemes, policies, and achievements directly to the grassroots.
During her visit to Rajsamand district, she participated in a Gram Rath outreach programme at Gunjol Gram Panchayat in the Nathdwara Assembly constituency. The event was attended by MP Mahima Kumari Mewar, Nathdwara MLA Vishvaraj Singh Mewar, District Collector Arun Kumar Haseeja, District President Jagdish Paliwal, along with a large number of public representatives, officials, and villagers.
Addressing the gathering, Diya Kumari said that the Gram Rath campaign is playing a crucial role in ensuring that government schemes reach every village and every eligible beneficiary. “Through these mobile outreach vehicles, the benefits of development are reaching the last person in the queue. Our goal is to ensure that no eligible citizen is left out,” she said.
Interacting with villagers, she shared details about various welfare schemes and achievements of the state government. She emphasised that awareness is key to ensuring that people can fully utilise available benefits. As part of the programme, informational materials and brochures were distributed among the public, encouraging them to learn more about the schemes and take advantage of them.
The Deputy Chief Minister noted that the Gram Rath initiative is helping simplify complex government programmes, making them more accessible and understandable for rural populations. This, she said, has also led to increased public participation in development initiatives.
Highlighting the government’s focus on agriculture, she said that farmer welfare remains a top priority. Continuous efforts are being made to strengthen the agricultural sector through improved irrigation facilities, technological advancements, and targeted support schemes aimed at increasing farmers’ incomes.
She expressed confidence that these initiatives would not only empower farmers but also strengthen the rural economy and contribute to the state’s overall growth.
Diya Kumari further stated that the government is working in a planned and inclusive manner for the upliftment of all sections of society, with special emphasis on rural development, education, healthcare, and expansion of basic infrastructure.
Describing the Gram Rath campaign as a powerful awareness tool, she said it is effectively acting as a bridge between the government and the people, ensuring transparency, accessibility, and wider reach of public welfare programmes.
