Farmers and Livestock Keepers’ Welfare a Priority: Deputy CM Diya Kumari

‘Gram-2026’ to be held in Jaipur from May 23 to 25

Jaipur, May 2026 : Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to the welfare of farmers and livestock keepers while addressing a “Sanjh Chaupal” organised under the Gram Rath campaign in Moriya Gram Panchayat of Chomu tehsil, Jaipur district.

Speaking on the occasion, she said the government is working with a firm resolve to ensure that the benefits of development reach the last person in society. She described the Gram Rath campaign as a strong medium for spreading awareness about government welfare schemes among the masses, along with promoting the Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet-2026.

Diya Kumari emphasised that under the able leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, the state government is consistently working with dedication for the welfare of agriculture, farmers, and livestock rearers. She said special focus is being given to strengthening rural livelihoods and ensuring that schemes are effectively implemented at the grassroots level.

During the programme, the Deputy Chief Minister also listened to grievances raised by villagers with sensitivity and directed concerned departmental officials to ensure their prompt resolution. She stressed that responsive governance and timely action are key priorities of the administration.

Local public representatives expressed gratitude to the Deputy Chief Minister for approving various road construction projects in the Chomu subdivision and for supporting the development of state highways in the region. They also demanded that the Chomu–Dudu state highway be upgraded into a four-lane road to improve connectivity and boost regional development.

The event also featured vibrant cultural performances by local artists. Through folk music and dance presentations, they showcased government welfare schemes and highlighted important aspects of rural life, effectively communicating development initiatives to the public in an engaging manner.
