Lucknow, May 2026 : The Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh has given a new identity to Anganwadi and nutrition schemes by linking them with technology. Registration and monitoring of beneficiaries are being carried out completely through digital means, which has increased transparency and effectiveness in the schemes.

The Child Development and Nutrition Department and the State Nutrition Mission, through the Nutrition Tracker system implemented by the Yogi government, have made the Anganwadi system modern and accountable.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s objective is to ensure that nutrition services reach the last person in a transparent and effective manner. Due to technology-based systems, monitoring of schemes has become easier and beneficiaries are receiving facilities in a timely manner. The digital model implemented in the state is also being seen as an example for other states. This initiative is benefiting lakhs of women and children by providing better nutrition, health security and social protection.

Officials of the Women and Child Development Department said that 98.76 percent registration of beneficiaries in the state has been completed through the face recognition system. This system is playing an important role in ensuring the correct identification of beneficiaries. It has effectively stopped fake names and wrong beneficiary entries.

The benefits of the schemes are directly reaching eligible women and children. Through the Nutrition Tracker system, complete online records of pregnant women, lactating mothers and children are being maintained. It has also become easier to monitor schemes and conduct reviews from time to time. Due to digital recording, improvement in the quality of services has also been seen.
