Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis Inaugurates Chinchbhavan Branch of Shriram Urban Co-operative Bank
Nagpur, May 2026 : Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday inaugurated the Chinchbhavan branch of Shriram Urban Co-operative Bank Limited in Nagpur.
The new branch, the sixth of the bank, has been established at Kachore Patil Nagar in Chinchbhavan. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Revenue Minister and Nagpur District Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, MLA Pravin Datke, former MLA Sandeep Joshi, Mayor Neeta Thakre, Municipal Commissioner Dr. Vipin Itankar, Shriram Urban Co-operative Bank Chairman Parag Saraf, Vice-Chairman Ajit Gokarn, and other dignitaries.
During the event, Chairman Parag Saraf briefed the Chief Minister on the bank’s growth, performance, and future plans. He also introduced the members of the bank’s board of directors to the Chief Minister.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis extended his best wishes to the bank’s management, directors, officers, and employees for the successful operation of the new branch and for the institution’s continued progress. He expressed confidence that the expansion would strengthen banking services in the region and contribute to local economic development.
The opening of the Chinchbhavan branch marks another milestone in the growth journey of Shriram Urban Co-operative Bank, enhancing its outreach and service network in Nagpur. The bank aims to provide accessible and customer-friendly financial services to residents, businesses, and entrepreneurs in the area while supporting the city’s expanding economic activities.
