Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal inaugurated the online registration facility of Pharmacy Council
Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal has launched the online facility of registration of Chhattisgarh State Pharmacy Council. Now the registration system of Pharmacy Council has become online. Due to this, pharmacy students and pharmacists will not have to visit the Pharmacy Council located in Raipur for registration or renewal. Now after applying online for registration, the applicant will have to come to the Council office only once for verification of documents.
Inaugurating the program, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal said that due to online registration work, applicants will no longer have to visit the council, which will provide them a lot of convenience. He said that the pharmacist is an important link between the doctor and the patient who has the responsibility of prescribing the right medicine and dosage.
Till now, for registration in the Pharmacy Council, pharmacy passed students from various places of all the districts of the state used to come to the Council office located in Raipur for pharmacist registration. Similarly, registered pharmacists had to come to Raipur for renewal. Now, as the registration and renewal system will be online, all the pharmacy students and registered pharmacists of the state will benefit. Currently, about 33 thousand 300 pharmacists are registered in the state. These pharmacists are running operations like retail medicine shops, wholesale medicine shops, medicine manufacturing units. Along with this, they are working as teachers in various pharmacy teaching institutions.
