Saints Guidance and Blessings Lead Us on Path of Righteousness: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that India is the custodian of the noble civilisational ethos of ‘Live and Let Live’. He said that non-violence (Ahimsa) leads humanity towards liberation, and this wisdom has been imparted to society by saints. The Chief Minister observed that the guidance, support and blessings of saints lead people on the path of righteousness and divinity.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said, describing Acharya Shri 108 Samay Sagar Ji Maharaj as a living embodiment of spiritual divinity, that the Acharya’s Chaturmas in Bhopal is a matter of great fortune and blessings for the people of the State. The Chief Minister announced that the State Government would convene a one-day special session of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly and invite Acharya Shri to deliver a discourse in the Assembly, enabling all legislators, public representatives, officers and employees to receive his guidance and blessings.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Kalash Sthapana ceremony organised during the Chaturmas-2026 of Vidya Shiromani Param Pujya Acharya Shri 108 Samay Sagar Ji Maharaj at Vidyodaya Tirth in Maharana Pratap Nagar, Bhopal, on Sunday. He performed the ceremonial Charan Prakshalan (washing of the Acharya’s feet) and sought his blessings.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said, addressing the gathering, that every individual should cultivate love and compassion for all living beings and emphasised the need to protect and conserve Gau Mata. He said the State Government is taking all necessary steps to strengthen the protection and maintenance of gaushalas across Madhya Pradesh. The Chief Minister said that the Government is carrying forward India’s ancient knowledge tradition in a modern form. He stressed that success in life can only be achieved through sincere effort and that adopting the path of non-violence and altruism enables individuals to lead meaningful and purposeful lives.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the three books authored by Acharya Shri offer guidance on the three fundamental truths of life. He added that India’s cultural ethos teaches that those in positions of power are not rulers but the foremost servants of the people. The Chief Minister further said that, while respecting all religions and their beliefs, the State Government has passed the Uniform Civil Code Bill in Madhya Pradesh. He affirmed that the Government would make even greater efforts for the welfare and protection of Gau Mata and would continue to seek Acharya Shri’s guidance in this regard.

Addressing the gathering, Acharya Shri 108 Samay Sagar Ji Maharaj said that the principle of Ahimsa does not belong to any one religion but is a universal value. He observed that all those who nurture compassion, kindness, altruism, affection and concern for the welfare of others are true followers of non-violence. The Acharya blessed all those present.

The programme was attended by Minister for Sports and Youth Welfare and Cooperation Shri Vishvas Kailash Sarang, Shri Rahul Kothari, Shri Ravindra Yati, President of the Digambar Jain Panchayat Committee Trust Shri Pankaj Jain ‘Supari’, other public representatives, and a large number of members of the Jain community.
